DVLA Guest Webinar | 23rd September 2021 | 4pm - 5pm | via Zoom
Driving involves a complex and rapidly repeating cycle that requires a level of skill and the ability to interact simultaneously with both the vehicle and the external environment. This process is coordinated by complex interactions involving behaviour, strategic and tactical abilities, and personality. In the context of an illness or disability affecting the driver, adaptive strategies are important for maintaining safe driving.
The drivers’ medical section within DVLA deals with all aspects of driver licensing when there are medical conditions that impact, or potentially impact, on safe control of a vehicle. In this webinar, Dr Benjamin Wiles, DVLA Doctor, will discuss the concept of risk and how this underpins the guidance to medical professionals in assessment of fitness to drive.
PLEASE NOTE This presentation will be followed by a question and answer session. All questions must be submitted by the 13th of September to email@example.com.
