Chronic Fatigues Syndrome and Occupational Aspects of Management | 21st July 2021 | 4pm | via Zoom
Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) is a debilitating condition, which affects many individuals of working age and is associated with high levels of occupational disability. Despite this, there remains a paucity of evidence on the occupational management of individuals presenting with the condition.
In this webinar Dr Giblin will explore the evidence available to guide occupational professionals in evidence-based practice. This will include:
- The role of specialist CFS services
- How cognitive behavioural therapy and graded exercise influence outcomes
- Factors that predict poorer work outcomes in individuals with CFS
There will be time at the end for questions.
