Background
I am an Employment law specialist with over 30 years of experience in both private practice and as an in-house lawyer. I am currently an Employment Partner and the national Head of Training at Weightmans LLP Solicitors, a top 50 national law firm with a large healthcare practice. Previously I was an in-house lawyer with Royal Mail Group plc for 10 years, during which time I took a lead role in disability issues as well as the management of sickness absence, performance and capability.

Approach
I provide guidance on a variety of disability issues to a diverse range of clients in both the public and private sectors, from Board level to front line managers and staff. I lecture regularly to a variety of organisations, including the Royal Society for Public Health on disability and short and long-term sickness absence issues and advise the Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine.

My Role with EOPH
I work alongside the EOPH team to develop and deliver face to face training and online learning resources on employment law, relevant to professionals in occupational health.
