Background
I am a physiotherapist specialising in musculoskeletal disorders having worked as a senior and clinical lead physiotherapist in the NHS, for 30 years teaching both staff and students. My interest in occupational health has evolved from working in both the public and private sector and I now work almost entirely in occupational health practice. I have a research interest in Work-Related Upper Limb Disorders and regularly undertake ergonomic assessments in various employment sectors.

Approach
I take a practical and participative approach with ergonomic advice and delivery of training. I regularly train for the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics (ACPOHE) and have experience in delivering training on all aspects of manual handling, ergonomic assessments and adjustments in the workplace.

My Role with EOPH
I work alongside the EOPH team to develop and deliver face to face training and online learning resources on ergonomics and adjustments relevant to professionals in occupational health.
